National Honor Society News 2013-2014
The Baytown National Junior Society had a great time at the Texas Renaissance Festival, in spite of the drizzling rain that occurred off and on throughout the day. There was food a plenty and many a game or medieval ride to entertain all the lord and ladies. Some people or groups wore time period costumes, as did our president, Shayna Smith.
Goose Creek CISD was well represented by three junior schools on Nov. 5th. Two junior school bands and/or orchestra groups performed, and though we didn't perform any music, our group made a grand addition to the “royal court” of King Henry VIII and his wife, who made an appearance.
Soon after our arrival, a photo was taken with a few students, and as a farewell to the regal event, we took our last photo with all lords and ladies in attendance.
