About Me
As a fifth-generation teacher, education runs deep in my veins. I am a both a University of Texas El Paso Miner, with a BA in Theatre Arts, and a University of Houston Cougar with an MA in English Literature. I completed my Principal Certification as a Lamar Cardinal. I have previously taught at Pasadena High School, Atascocita High school, and ended last year at Goose Creek Memorial High School. As I reached twenty-one years as an English teacher in the classroom, I realized—that as much as I love teaching literature and writing—there’s space for me to do more. I can’t imagine a better space to grow and learn than Cedar Bayou Junior. I’m looking forward to amazing year of learning in Bear Country!
