Promethean board is used everyday. Clickers give me immediate feed back on assessments. It is great to have.

Educational Technology plays a huge role in my classroom. It gets the students more engaged in the lesson. A little different from when I went to high school. Different is good sometimes.
What Is Your Favorite Piece of Classroom Technology? Why?
The Promethean Board has be the best piece of technology in my classroom. It is so interactive. Lesson planning and printing out notes is very easy.
What Is On Your Technology Wish List For Your Classroom? Why?
SMART Notebook software. They have great programs, especially for Mathematics.
What Do You Love Most About Teaching?
Making a difference in students lives. Our job is more than just standing up there and showing students formulas.

"Michael is always willing to try new technology in his class to engage students. He is creative with his lessons, and his students are on the edge of their seats while he teaches. He actively teaches with his Promethean board and document camera. When I was in his class, we did a lesson with his clickers. Mr. Jimenez put a statement on the board and the student used the text option, on their clickers, to submit the converse or inverse of the sentence. After the clicker lesson, the students assignment was to take pictures around the school, upload the picture in Notability, circle and identify parallel, transversal, and perpendicular, then email their completed assignment to him."
