About Mr. Purifoy
James Purifoy, a native of Baytown, has 28 years of experience in education. He graduated from Ross S. Sterling High School, attended Lee College and then transferred to Texas A&M University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. After returning home, he completed his Master’s in Education Administration while he taught math and science at Sterling High School and Horace Mann Jr High before serving as an Assistant Principal for the Peter E. Hyland Alternative Learning Program, Lee High School, and, now, Goose Creek Memorial High School. He’s proud to be a Patriot and excited to become part of the family.
