We are looking forward to an exciting school year. Kindergarten is full of learning and having fun. We will be working hard daily to achieve success in the classroom. We want every child to reach his/her highest potential while at Carver.
In order for all Kindergarten students to be successful and ready for first grade, they should be able to:
- Count to 120
- Identify numbers 1-20
- Write their first and last name
- Identify and produce sounds of letters of the alphabet
- Identify sight words
- Read on a DRA Level of 6-8.
