I am so proud to be a Lamar Lion! What an honor it is to be named Principal at Mirabeau B. Lamar Elementary and continue to work with such an amazing staff! My pledge to our students, families, and staff is to lead by example, learn with humility, and build capacity so that we will achieve the mission before us:
“To educate and nurture our children to become successful learners and productive citizens.”
I believe that every student can learn at high levels. I believe that what teachers say and do matters. I believe that we can all make a positive difference in the lives of those around us. Together, we are Lamar Proud. Together, we will achieve great things. Together, we will make a difference. We will dream big, laugh hard, learn a lot. We will partner with parents to do what is best for kids. We will grow and learn from each other. We will treat each other with respect and listen to one another. Together, we are Lamar Proud!
