UIL Day 1.  Our 3rd band made their 3rd consecutive appearance at UIL concert & sightreading this morning. We are proud of the growth in the program and the ability to take multiple ensembles to contest every year.  They returned home with a 1st division award for the sightreading portion of the evaluation. They performed with great poise and confidence both on stage and in sightreading, and the sightreading judges rewarded us by giving the band a 1st division.

UIL Day 2. The symphonic band had an excellent performance at UIL this morning.

One judge rating away from bringing home a 2nd consecutive sweepstakes award, they did come home with the sightreading award, making it 6th years in a row for the Symphonic Band to bring home UIL hardware!  Playing a very advanced program on stage they performed very well and came up just a bit short of convincing the judges. The band then performed brilliantly and very musically in the sightreading room.

UIL Day 3.  The wind Ensemble ended our UIL season a high note (pun intended) this morning by earning 1st division in concert & sightreading! Combine this result with our 1st division from marching season and the 2022-2023 Robert E Lee Band is a UIL SWEEPSTAKES winner!  The band performed with great maturity and confidence!
