Mr. Brooks is a graduate of Lee High School, class of 1994. He began his career in education at Cedar Bayou Junior School in 2000, where he taught special education and coached for 13 years. At CBJ, he was named campus teacher of the year and was the recipient of the James Becker Thompson award. In 2013, Brooks became the assistant principal at Baytown Junior until 2015, where he then served as AP at Horace Mann until 2018. Mr. Brooks was the principal at LaPorte Junior High from 2018 till he was named Principal of Edward "E.F." Green Junior School.
