About Me

My name is Mrs. Schramm, and I am proud to serve as the school counselor at Clark Elementary. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL), where I developed a deep passion for supporting students' academic, emotional, and social development. I am happily married and the proud mom of a wonderful daughter. Outside of school, I love spending quality time with my family and reading a good book. I am truly excited and honored to serve our students, staff, and families, and I look forward to building strong, positive relationships throughout our school community.

Character trait education is a continuous process at Clark. Our character traits are respect, responsibility, gratitude, empathy, perseverance, honesty, cooperation, courage, and creativity. Students who display an outstanding job of the trait are honored at a character breakfast celebration.

Clark's Counseling Program is a Comprehensive Developmental Guidance and Counseling Program which includes the ASCA National four components designed to meet our student’s needs and promote student achievement:

  • Individual Student Planning- Academic and career guidance; parent and student consultation regarding planning and goal-setting.
  • Responsive Services- Individual counseling sessions; parent consultations regarding individual student needs.
  • System Support- Includes program and staff support activities and services.
