SCTHS is an application-based high school that combines rigorous career and technical coursework with core curriculum classes on a single campus. Students receive hands-on, project-based instruction in one of our four academy career pathways. Our goal is for students to earn college credit and industry certifications in partnership with Lee College. Students are prepared to finish their associate degree and/or baccalaureate degree education or join entry-level occupations.
Students have the opportunity participate in intramural activities, events specific to SCTHS, and participate in career and technical student organizations such as SkillsUSA, FFA, and FCCLA.
Students attending Stuart Career Tech HS will not have an opportunity to participate in traditional campus athletics or fine arts that are available on traditional high school campuses. Transportation will be provided.
Students must complete the full application process in January to be considered for an academy.

SCTHS History
In September, 2017, Stuart Career Tech High School opened its doors for the first group of freshman as SCC started its conversion from a career center, to a four-year comprehensive high school. Students apply to attend SCTHS and opt to participate in an early college, career readiness experience. The campus was focused on four career academies: Advanced Automotive, Agriculture Sciences, Culinary Arts, and Manufacturing and Industrial Maintenance. Our goal is that students complete high school with industry certifications and/or an associates degree in Applied Science.
