How Does Educational Technology Play a Role in Your Classroom?
We use technology in the classroom daily. I believe that technology aids in retention for the kids.

How Do You Find Technology in the Classroom Helpful?
 We use many different apps and programs to help with visual learning, which in turn helps with our ELL learners. The kids are more engaged and involved which forces them to take ownership of their learning.
What Is Your Favorite Piece of Classroom Technology? Why?
 I really enjoy watching the kids use the escape room. They are so wrapped up in navigating the app, I don't think they realize they're actually learning.

What Is On Your Technology Wish List For Your Classroom? Why?
I wish we had a class set of iPads, currently we are borrowing from the library.
 
What Do You Love Most About Teaching?
I love seeing the growth in my kids and their faces when the "lightbulb" goes off is the absolute best part.

Frances Bushnell, Technology Integration Specialist - Junior Schools "Ms. Thomas started the school year off attempting to use her 7th grade laptops, but was unable to get all of her student successfully logged in and running with any lesson. Instead of stopping there, she sought me out and searched for a way for her students to be able to have interactive lessons, activities, and over all Social Studies curriculum. She was able to create Digital Breakouts using Deck.Toys for her students to review for CBA 1 and 2, as well as Benchmark testing. She also had her 8th grade students learn about and use Spark Video to summarize their understanding of the first 5 Presidents. Finally, she was able to get all of her students in to Google Classroom to have daily access to classwork in and outside of the classroom, as well as submit projects and other assignments. She has made great strides in integrating technology in her classroom!"
