How Does Educational Technology Play a Role in Your Classroom?
I use technology daily in my classroom. I use it during workstations, whole group, and small group instruction.
How Do You Find Technology in the Classroom Helpful?
The students are more engaged and involved in the lesson. Some apps help me to observe, make comments and correct student’s work. Technology makes it convenient to check students’ work at home and school. Technology reduces the use of worksheets. with technology I can give instant feedback.
What Is Your Favorite Piece of Classroom Technology? Why?
I like Seesaw. The students also like Seesaw. With Seesaw, I can observe how the kids performing on a task and adjust my teaching. Parents also have access to their child’s activity. I can make comments as well. This app is also very easy for the kids to use.
What Is On Your Technology Wish List For Your Classroom? Why?
I would like to have our own class set of IPads. I have to borrow from the library or the kids have to wait their turn. If we have a class set I can also increase the usage of technology in the classroom.
What Do You Love Most About Teaching?
I feel proud at the end of every year to see how the students have grown academically, mentally, and socially knowing that I played a role in their development.
