Students using technologyHow Does Educational Technology Play a Role in Your Classroom?
I use Google Classroom, webquest activities, video making apps, QR code projects, Pear Deck Flashcard Factory for vocabulary activities, Quizlet Live to review concepts, and Albert.io for review.

How Do You Find Technology in the Classroom Helpful?

It helps to stream line students education - Google Classroom is a hub where students can find all their assignment and keep track if they are missing assignments. Technology also has opened up a world of student based projects that didn't exist when I started my career. Additionally, students can use technology for a variety of research assignments and test reviews

What Is Your Favorite Piece of Classroom Technology? Why?
I guess it would be the Promethean board, I love being able to connect it to my iPad for instruction.

What Is On Your Technology Wish List For Your Classroom? Why? I'm not sure, there's is so much new tech out there and I have a hard time keeping up. I love trying new things- so I guess I'll give anything a try.

What Do You Love Most About Teaching?
How do I narrow that down! I suppose I love seeing my kids get excited about learning new information and applying that information to their future careers - I teach Pre-AP biology for the Health Science Academy.

Lori Roberts, Educational Technology Specialist - High Schools "Mrs. Ham isn't afraid to try new technology tools to help her students stay engaged and master the concepts in her class. Through tools such as Notability, Pear Deck Flashcard Factory, and Adobe Spark Video, Mrs. Ham meets her students where they are in the world of technology. She also encourages her science team to integrate the tools into their own classroom."
