We use WebEx almost every day of the week to have conversations and to mentor our elementary, junior high, and life skills PALs.
How Do You Find Technology in the Classroom Helpful?
Without the WebEx breakout rooms, we would not be able to mentor students this year. The use of the WebEx breakout room technology has allowed the PAL program to work this school year.
What Is Your Favorite Piece of Classroom Technology? Why?
Cisco WebEx because it allows us to see our PALs!
What Is On Your Technology Wish List For Your Classroom? Why?
A portable speaker/microphone sound system for playing music with Bluetooth capability. It would be so awesome to bring the energy that comes with music to our activities.
What Do You Love Most About Teaching?
The students! I love their enthusiasm and excitement for the future. It is so rewarding to watch them achieve their dreams.

"Beth has completely revolutionized the PALs program at Sterling High School with her use of technology. She has used Google Forms for the past few years to make the application and interview process easy for both students and the interview committee. During the past year, Beth has taken the challenges posed by COVID and continued to evolve the program since her students have not been able to visit their buddies in person."
