What Is Your Favorite Piece of Classroom Technology? Why?
Prodigy and Pear Deck. I love Prodigy because I can assign skill practice on what we are currently working on in class but when they finish it will take them to what they need to practice, whether that's enrichment or intervention. It can see where they are academically and help them in the areas they need more practice in. Pear Deck allows me to see my students work and answer problems in real time. I use it mostly for guided practice. I am able to correct common mistakes as a whole group or individually correct students.
What Is On Your Technology Wish List For Your Classroom? Why?
My class set of head phones have been very well loved. I would love to get a new class set!
What Do You Love Most About Teaching?
I love my students. I love that each one of them is different and unique and that they all bring some valuable into the room and classroom community.

"Ms. Downs uses several interactive programs that engage her co-teach classes. She excels at engaging a variety of learners through pear deck, Education Galaxy, Kahoot, Gimkit, google forms, and testing through eduphoria. She has students come to the board frequently and solve problems on the active inspire and creates rotating stations using various technology programs. She pulls data from euphoria to make sure she is targeting students struggles from benchmarks as well.."
