How Does Educational Technology Play a Role in Your Classroom?

Technology is a big part of my classroom. It helps students connect what they’re learning to real-life situations, which is especially helpful in math. I use a variety of programs and digital tools every day to engage students and differentiate lessons.

How Do You Find Technology in the Classroom Helpful?

Technology gives students ownership of their learning. They can get instant feedback, correct mistakes, and celebrate accomplishments. It also makes lessons more interactive and allows me to teach in ways that meet each student’s needs.

What Is Your Favorite Piece of Classroom Technology? Why?

 My favorite tool is Notability. It allows me to teach flexibly and helps students use their notes and assignments in different ways. They can organize, interact with, and revisit their work anytime, which really supports learning in a meaningful way.

What Do You Love Most About Teaching?

 I love building relationships with my students and seeing their confidence grow when they realize they can succeed in math. Watching students make progress, whether big or small, is the most rewarding part of teaching.
