Alicia Brooks began her career in education in 1997 in Hazelwood School District as a math teacher and coach, coming to Goose Creek CISD as a teacher and coach at Robert E. Lee High School in 2000, where she taught math, computer science, digital graphics and animation, digital engineering and sponsored the Robotics team. Mrs. Brooks served as an instructional technology coach in Barbers Hill from 2010 to May 2018 and has served the past two years as assistant principal at the high school.
Mrs. Brooks earned a Bachelor of Science from Iowa Wesleyan College and a Master in Educational Technology Leadership and principal certification from Lamar University.
