About Me
Background
I am honored to serve as the first principal of the new Jessie Lee Pumphrey Elementary School. Our motto is “Together we Can.” I know as a Pumphrey family we will accomplish many great things for the students we serve as we work together for their success.
This is my 12th year as a principal, and I have 20 years in education serving as a teacher, campus instructional specialist, and assistant principal to principal. I graduated from University of Houston Clear Lake with my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and Master of Science in Educational Leadership.
Family
My motivation for what I do is my three boys. My oldest son, Joshua, is serving in the United States Navy. He is currently serving at Norfolk Naval Base in Virginia. My middle son, Jake, is a college student working on a degree in Business Administration. My youngest son, Carson, is a church camp facilitator in Colorado.
