My role at IMPACT: Student Wellness Intervention Counselor
My philosophy about education:
My mission as your Student Wellness Counselor is to positively impact the lives of our Goose Creek Giants by helping all students reach their full potential personally and emotionally.
My work experience: I have been in education for 18 years. Most of them as a classroom teacher (kinder and 1st grade), 5 years as a school counselor at Ashbel Smith Elementary and this will be my second year as the Student Wellness Intervention Counselor. I received a bachelor’s degree from University of Phoenix and my master’s degree from Texas A&M College Station.
A little something about me: I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband, my daughters and my one and only grandson, Nehemiah.
What I want you to know about IMPACT ECHS: IMPACT staff are caring, nurturing and supportive to the students who are courageous individuals pursuing an early start to an excellent future full of dreams and goals.
I call it my second family/home.
Interesting facts about me: I attended a semester at UCLA to be a Trained Lactation Consultant with La Leche League.Love Disney, color Pink, F*R*I*E*N*D*S, Starbucks and sweets!!Sunflowers and chocolate!
