My philosophy about education: My educational philosophy is to teach my students as if they were my own. Set high standards for each of them and they will rise to meet those expectations to the best of their ability.
My work experience: I have been a classroom teacher for 35 years. I earned my Associate Degree from Tyler Junior College and earned my Bachelor Degree from the University of Houston.
A little something about me: I am a proud University of Houston alumni and spend a lot of weekends attending football, baseball and basketball games on campus. I am a big history buff and enjoy traveling to historical cities and landmarks as well as reading all I can on the subject.
What I want you to know about IMPACT ECHS: IMPACT is a great school that offers a small campus atmosphere. The faculty are all dedicated to the betterment of each of our students.
Interesting facts about me: I love to work in my yard with my native plants and flowers and fishing on the weekends at Lake Livingston.Dark chocolate, Hot Tamale candy and Dr. Pepper Zero are always good after a hard day :)Watching my freshmen grow throughout the year and when our alumni come back from their university after a successful semester.
