About Me
Hello, my name is Pamela McClain and I’m elated to serve as the Youth Service Specialist (CYS) at Clark Elementary. I come to you with over 20 years of experience. I have a bachelor's degree in General Studies with a concentration on Elementary Education and Physical Education where I served as teacher for over 10 years and worked for CPS as an Investigator for 8 years. I also have a master’s degree in Criminal Justice. My goal is to build a strong and healthy relationship with the children and families in order to help them succeed.
How CYS Can Help Your School:

Provide crisis counseling & consultation on campus

Provide resource and referrals for students, families and schools personnelProvide supportive counseling to students

Provide basic needs/seasonal items as available

Education and/or support groups (Grief, Social Skills, Behavioral & Anti-Bullying)

Support for homeless population

Serve as liaison between school and Texas Department of Family and Protective Services

Serve as liaison between school and services of Harris County to include Juvenile Probation

Assist families with voluntary facility placements outside of the home

Make home visits
Who Can Refer Students to CYS?
Referrals can come from any school staff, parents, friend or from other agencies. In in doubt feel free to contact me and I will help any way I can.
