I’m Courtney Morris, and this is my first year serving as Hopper's Teaching and Learning Coach (TLC). With over 20 years of experience in education, I’ve had the joy of teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 2nd grade. For the past five years, I’ve served as an Instructional Literacy Coach in GCCISD, specializing in early childhood literacy for Pre-K-2nd grade. My goal is to help young learners and teachers of young learners to build the foundational skills that all students need to thrive.

When I’m not at the school, I am working at a nearby dance studio as a ballet instructor and competitive dance team coach. I’ve been married to my husband for 18 wonderful years. We have two amazing kids and as a family, we love spending time at water parks, cheering on the Houston Astros, and serving together at our church.

I'm so excited to have joined the Hopper family and look forward to a wonderful year working with our Grasshoppers!
