Hi Hopper families!

My name is Lindsey Singla and I am so delighted to be joining the Hopper family for my 15th year in education! I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles during my career that include teacher, athletic director, coach, director of a special education school, assistant principal and principal. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois and my Master’s Degree from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois.

While I have spent a majority of my life in Illinois, I was blessed to move to Texas with my family in 2022 and join GCCISD. I love spending time with my family, which includes my daughter, 7, and my son, 6, my husband and my 2 dogs.

I believe that each child is capable of learning and to be successful. My job along with my staff is to create an environment that supports students by focusing on foundational skills that will promote students to be lifelong learners and can be incorporated with our theme for the year, “Learning Is A Journey That Never Ends”.

I can’t wait to continue my learning journey with our Grasshoppers for the 24-25 School Year!
