About Me
“I am excited to return to the Banuelos Elementary family as your Assistant Principal. I want all children to have a love for learning. I believe by working together we can create a school community where that learning will take place."
I have worked in education for over 17 years. My educational experience includes classroom teacher, SPED teacher, curriculum instructional coach, dyslexia and reading interventionist. Iearned my undergraduate degree from The University of Houston(Go Coogs!) and completed my principal certification and master’s degree at Lamar University.
I was born in Baytown and raised close by in Northshore. My husband and I recently celebrated 26 years of marriage. We have one son Jeff, that attends school in Goose Creek.
When I am not at school, I enjoy reading, atv riding, traveling, and camping with my family and friends.
