About Me
“I am excited to return to the Banuelos Elementary family as your Assistant Principal. I want all children to develop a love for learning. I believe that by working together, we can create a school community where learning thrives."
I have worked in education for over 20 years and am entering my 3rd year as an Assistant Principal. My educational experience includes classroom teacher, SPED teacher, curriculum instructional coach, and dyslexia/reading interventionist. I earned my undergraduate degree from The University of Houston (Go Coogs!) and completed my principal certification and master’s degree at Lamar University.
I was born in Baytown and raised close by in Northshore. My husband and I have been married for 28 years and we have one son, a recent graduate of Goose Creek Memorial High School.
When I am not at school, I enjoy reading, ATV riding, traveling, and camping with my family and friends.
