About Me

Welcome to Liles Early Learning Academy! My name is Paula Schmidt, and I am the nurse here at Liles. I am local to Baytown and graduated from Sterling High School, Lee College in 1999 then Texas Tech University in 2009 completing a double master’s degree in nursing administration and secondary degree in Nursing Business Administration. I have worked in multiple hospital settings over the last 29 years and mainly worked in the critical care/ ICU setting. I have currently worked in Goose Creek CISD for 7 years and have had 2 kids grow up in Goose Creek ISD. I am here to help with maintaining a healthy and safe environment here at Liles and please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

My name is Jesica Salazar, and I am the Nurse Assistant here at Liles. I am going into my 21st year of my Nursing career and my 2nd year working in GCCISD. I have 4 children of my own, 2 of them have already graduated from Sterling High School, and 2 that are still current students of GCCISD. I am so excited to be here with our students at Liles! We strive to maintain a healthy environment at Liles for all of our students and staff.  Please feel free to contact us with any concerns you may have.
