E.F Green is excited to announce our huge accomplishment of earning the distinction of an AVID National Demonstration School!  Our students and teachers have worked diligently to obtain this achievement.

AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a college readiness program designed to support students, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, in achieving academic success and preparing for post-secondary education. It focuses on developing skills in areas like critical thinking, organization, time management, and study techniques. Through a rigorous curriculum and support system, AVID aims to increase college enrollment and completion rates.

An AVID National Demonstration Campus is a school recognized for its exemplary implementation of the AVID program. These schools serve as models for other institutions interested in adopting the AVID framework. Being a National Demonstration Campus signifies that the school has met high standards of AVID implementation and has a strong, consistent commitment to helping students succeed.
