About Me

George Washington Carver Elementary is filled with a rich heritage and history, it is home to a diverse group of scholars and a dedicated faculty and staff.  It is because of this that I am so very proud to be a member of the Carver family. It is my absolute pleasure to continue to serve Carver Elementary as the school principal.

I am a Louisiana native that migrated to Baytown many years ago to land a teaching job at Robert E. Lee High school as an Integrated Physics and Chemistry (IPC) teacher.  Since then I have had the pleasure to serve Goose Creek in various capacities, elementary and junior high teacher, Student Support Administrator and as an Assistant Principal for three years. Needless to say; Goose Creek has become my home.

I am a graduate of McNeese State University attaining a Bachelors in Biological Science and a minor in Chemistry. In 2011, I graduated from Lamar University acquiring a Masters in Educational Leadership.

Please know that I am dedicated to this community and the responsibility that I hold as the Carver Principal is not taken lightly. I want to ensure this community that our scholars will receive a rigorous education in a nurturing environment, we will provide every opportunity to ensure our Carver Stars thrive.
