Welcome! I am honored to serve as the proud principal of Ashbel Smith Elementary. For the past 11 years, I have been a part of the Goose Creek CISD family, serving as a teacher, curriculum instructional specialist, assistant principal, and now principal.

Born and raised in Beaumont, Texas, I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Lamar University. I am deeply committed to the success of our students and community, and it is a privilege to lead such an amazing school.

At Ashbel Smith, our motto is “Every Child Matters; Every Day Counts,” and I am excited about the incredible growth and achievements we will see in our students this year. Together, we are making a difference, one day at a time!
