Principal Mackyeon has proudly served the Goose Creek CISD community for over 20 years after relocating to Baytown. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of roles including middle and high school math teacher, middle school instructional coach, Student Support Administrator, and Assistant Principal. Each role has strengthened her passion for supporting campus growth and student success.
A servant leader at heart, Mrs. Mackyeon leads with grace, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence. She inspires her staff by leading by example and fostering a culture built on trust, collaboration, and innovation. Known for her courageous conversations and results-driven mindset, she is dedicated to “moving the needle” to ensure positive outcomes for both students and staff.
Beyond academics, Mrs. Mackyeon is deeply committed to the whole child. She champions social-emotional learning, supports extracurricular opportunities, and proudly celebrates student achievements, often highlighting campus successes through social media. Her leadership continues to make a meaningful impact on the Baytown Junior School community.
