My role at IMPACT: Educator - Algebra 1 and Honors Algebra 2
My philosophy about education: I believe that all students deserve to have a comfortable and safe place to learn. I believe that all school district employees should work together and strive to always do what is best for the student. A collaborative support team should include the student, teachers, administrators, counselors, and parents.
My work experience: This is my 16th year in the classroom. I specialize in Algebra 1 and 2, and am also a co-sponsor for Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy.
A little something about me: My name is Mrs. Ashworth and here’s a little information about who I am. I graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. I have taught middle/high school math for 15 years. I grew up in Pasadena, spent 10 years in San Marcos, and another 7 in D
What I want you to know about IMPACT ECHS: IMPACT is a very safe and friendly place to get an education. The teachers here work harder than I have seen on any other campus I have ever been on. We will do whatever we can to help our students be successful, but ultimately the student is the one who has to choose success. Students will have a lot of support here, and we love to get parents involved as part of our support team.
