Mrs. Mexas started her early education in GCCISD. Attending Cedar Bayou Junior High and Ross S. Sterling High School has made Mrs. Mexas Goose Creek proud. She attended the University of Houston-Clear Lake where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Marketing in 2008. She later pursued a Master of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University in 2015.
Mrs. Mexas taught Spanish at Goose Creek Memorial High School where she was able to impact many lives of students. Throughout her 13-year journey at GCM, Mrs. Mexas enjoyed her role as a guidance counselor where she continued to build relationships with students by guiding them through personal needs and academic success. Mrs. Mexas served the district for 2 years at the Early College P-Tech High School, Stuart Career Tech, as a College & Career Counselor, and will continue to pursue her passion for working with students here at the Early Collge High School.
This is Mrs. Mexas’ 16th year in education, and she looks forward to many more.
