About Me
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the staff, students, and families of Highlands Elementary as your Student Support Administrator! My educational journey began at the University of Houston-Downtown, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2010. Building on that foundation, I pursued my master’s degree at University of St. Thomas, which I completed in 2019. I am stepping into my 13th year in education, with 10 years of classroom experience and 2 years as an instructional reading coach. I take great pride in being an enthusiastic educator driven to inspire lifelong learning and success.
When I’m not at school, I love to spend time with my family. I enjoy reading and also supporting my daughter in all her extracurricular endeavors. I hold the belief that all students can thrive when given the right opportunities, and that the learning journey should be both engaging and meaningful. Together, we can cultivate a supportive environment that inspires growth, confidence, and success.
