Joi Green grew up in the colorful State of Colorado, in the Mile High City, where she completed all of her K12 education and graduated in 1989. She attended Colorado State University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice. Joi worked as a probation officer intern, truancy court assessment writer, was a senior level social worker for the Department of Human Services and was also an adoption caseworker.
Joi earned her Master's degree in School Counseling in 2005 and began her career in education, as a school counselor. 16 years later, she served as the districtwide counselor coordinator on the Career and Innovation Team, leading post-secondary workforce readiness initiatives, graduation requirements, ICAP, AP/IB and dual enrollment.
Joi is passionate about supporting each student in having equity and access to multiple career and college pathways and is excited to be here!
Mrs. Green is the counselor for the Manufacturing, Automotive, and IT Pathway.
