About Me

I have been in education for 12 years in Goose Creek. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, as a family involvement coordinator, and now as a school counselor. I attended the University of Houston Clear Lake and earned my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and then later earned a Masters in School Counseling from Lamar University. I am excited to start my career in counseling at De Zavala by serving our students, families, and staff. I believe in the power of building relationships. My goal is to help all De Zavala Dolphins succeed socially, emotionally, and academically. This is possible through character guidance lessons, small groups, and short-term individual planning. 

I look forward to an amazing school year growing our De Zavala Dolphins into giants!
