    About Mr. Congdon...

    Hello Rangers!

It's a privilege to serve as the Assistant Principal for the Career Academies and the 2026 SENIORS here at Sterling.

Altogether, I have 11 years of experience teaching at the secondary and 9 years of experience teaching at the postsecondary level.

Previously, I was the Assistant Principal for 8th grade at Gentry, and it's great to be working at Sterling with so many great students and families I already know.

Prior to that, I taught dual credit college English and English II at Stuart Career Tech High School. That's where I figured out the incredible opportunities afforded by career academies (and the inspiring students those opportunities bring to campus), so I could not be more excited for the opportunity now to work with the Sterling Health Science and Future Educators Academies.

I am looking forward to a fantastic year at Ross S. Sterling!

    About Mr. Pitre...

I am proud to serve as an Assistant Principal at Sterling High School. I grew up in Beaumont, Texas, and my journey has taken me through military service, classroom teaching, instructional coaching, and now school leadership.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Texas A&M University, a Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Mathematics from Relay Graduate School of Education, and a Master of Education in Administration with Principal Certification from Lamar University. These experiences have shaped my approach to leadership and deepened my commitment to student success.

I started my career as a high school math teacher, where I worked to engage students in challenging content and help them build confidence in their abilities. Over time, I transitioned into roles as a Math Department Chair and later a Math Teaching and Learning Coach. My educator philosophy is that I believe every student can learn at high levels if given the proper supports. Before my time in education, I proudly served as a U.S. Army Chemical Officer

    About Mrs. Fuller...

As a Baytown native and graduate of Sterling High School, there is nothing better than being a Ranger and walking the halls of RSS. I have been in the district 27 years and have also taught in Christian schools and the Community College System. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, a Master of Arts degree in history, and Master of Science Degree in Educational Leadership from University of Houston Clear Lake.

My responsibilities at Sterling are to our students who receive special services. I can honestly say I love my job. I love the students and teachers I support, and I love the fabulous special education and 504 teams I work with. There are no better programs in GCCISD, and I am proud to be part of them. I am also the testing coordinator at Sterling - it's not nearly as much fun, but it is an important part of our state accountability, and I am happy to say we are at the top of our game in that area as well.

I am thankful for the opportunity to be a Ranger and to contribute to an active and productive community of learners. Thanks to the students, families, and teachers who make life great. Go Rangers!
