Ms. Angela Rawls

College/Career/Military Readiness (CCMR) Counselor

Ms. Rawls, a Channelview, TX native, has dedicated her career to education and counseling. After graduating from Channelview High School, she earned a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies from Sam Houston State University, followed by two Master's degrees from Lamar University in School Counseling and Clinical and Mental Health.   Now in her 16th year at Sterling High School, Ms. Rawls is entering her 7th year as a counselor, focusing on supporting students as they enter the field of higher education, the military, or the workforce.

 

This academic year, Ms. Rawls will work closely with students to build their foundational high school experience, stay on track academically, explore their interests, and develop the tools they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

 

In her spare time, Ms. Rawls enjoys cooking and baking as well as singing with her group and traveling. Most importantly, she cherishes her time spent with family and friends.

Ms. Eutondra LaMark

Ms. LaMark is a proud product of Goose Creek CISD, having attended the original Pumphrey Elementary, Gentry Junior School, and graduating from Ross S. Sterling High School. She began her educational career in GCCISD as a biology teacher and continues to serve her hometown district as a counselor. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, and a Master’s in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University.

 

She works diligently to ensure the students and families of GCCISD are provided with the resources and academic expertise she can offer to ensure they reach their current and post-secondary goals. She has over 20 years of experience in education and has served over over 2500 students in Baytown as a teacher and counselor. She always makes time for her students, and her selflessness has made our community better.

Ms. Hernandez, originally from the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City's Washington Heights, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University at Albany and a Master’s in Counseling with bilingual certification from Mercy College, New York. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in educational leadership with a focus on Instructional Technology at the University of Houston - Clearlake, she brings over 14 years of educational experience to her role. Ms. Hernandez is bilingual in Spanish, enjoys fitness, the arts, church activities, and cherishes time with family and friends. She is dedicated to serving students and families, fostering relationships, and building community within educational settings.

 

Ms. Hernandez’s passion for education, combined with her diverse background and ongoing academic pursuits, makes her a valuable asset to the class of 2029 and beyond.

Ms. Lee is a proud Baytown native and a graduate of Goose Creek CISD, having attended Baytown Junior and Ross S. Sterling High School - Go Rangers! After high school, she earned her Bachelor of Science from Grambling State University in Louisiana. She was honored to begin her professional journey at her alma mater, working for three years to support students through the exciting and sometimes overwhelming transition into college life.

 

Ms. Lee later returned home to launch her teaching career in GCCISD as an ELA and AVID educator. Driven by her passion for student success, she went on to earn a Master’s degree in Professional School Counseling from Lamar University. In her free time, Ms. Lee enjoys traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and caring for her two dogs, Bailey and Beau. She is deeply committed to inspiring her students to dream big and believe in their power to change the world, one step at a time. This year, Ms. Lee is excited to support the 10th-grade class as they continue their academic journey and discover more about themselves along the way.

Ms. Ritchie is a graduate of Stephon F. Austin State University where she  earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.  With 30 years of experience in the field, she has had the privilege of helping countless students navigate their academic and career paths. 

 

As a high school counselor, she strives to inspire and support every student in reaching their fullest potential, ensuring they become valuable assets to both their communities and the world at large. She is passionate about helping students develop their postsecondary plans.  She wants all her students to graduate from high school as responsible, productive, citizens who will strengthen our community.

 

Beyond her professional life, she cherishes spending time with her family, playing with her dogs, and indulging in the relaxation of cruising. 

Marshall

Mrs. Tammy Marshall

Mrs. Marshall is a proud product of Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District (GCCISD). She attended schools in Highlands as a child from pre-kindergarten through junior high. Mrs. Marshall graduated from Ross S. Sterling High School. Afterwards, she earned an Associate's degree from Lee College. She continued her education at the University of Houston - Clear Lake, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology.

 

She has been married for over 30 years and has two wonderful daughters. Mrs. Marshall also has two dogs and enjoys spending her free time with her family.

 

Mrs. Marshall brings over 23 years of experience in education and is dedicated to supporting students and families. She is passionate about guiding students toward achieving their goals and takes pride in helping them succeed.

Raised in Kansas, Mrs. Slack is a proud transplant to Texas. After graduation from Pittsburg State University with a BS in Elementary Education, Mrs. Slack taught elementary students in Texas for 14 years before graduating with a M.Ed. in School Counseling from Lamar University in 2015. Mrs. Slack has been a Student Wellness Interventionist with Goose Creek CISD for six years.

 

She has been married for over 24 years and has three children and a dog. She enjoys volunteering at her church, working outside, and going camping. Her heart is to help students and families bloom and grow in the soil they're planted.

Communities in Schools Site Coordinator (CIS)

Lizzie Adams is the Communities in Schools Site Coordinator for Ross S. Sterling High School. Communities in Schools (CISB) is a non-profit dropout prevention program. As a Site Coordinator, she works with students and their families to provide resources needed to help students be successful in school and after graduation.

Ms. Campa is a proud graduate of Impact ECHS (Class of 2015) and is entering her 7th year with Goose Creek CISD. RSS holds a special place in her heart—she began her career at Sterling as a Bilingual Instructional Paraprofessional, where she served for two years before spending four years at Austin Elementary. Now, she’s beyond excited to return to where it all started as our new College & Career Clerk!

  

Outside of work, Ms. Campa enjoys spending quality time with her daughter. They share a love for reading and crafting together. She also has a passion for music and travel—always ready for a spontaneous road trip or a flight to catch a great concert!

  

As the College & Career Clerk, Ms. Campa is committed to helping students explore their post-graduation options—whether that’s college, career, or military pathways. She’s passionate about connecting students with opportunities that align with their goals and ensuring each one feels confident and empowered to take the next step toward their future.
