Hello and welcome to Crockett Elementary!
My name is Jennifer Villarreal, and I am truly excited to serve as your Campus Student Success Specialist. It is an honor to be part of this incredible community of learners, families, and dedicated educators.
My journey in education began at the University of Houston Clear Lake, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I went on to receive my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington and later completed my Principal Certification through Lamar University.
This is my seventh year in education, and throughout those years I’ve had the joy of teaching both 2nd and 4th grade in subjects like Math, ELA, and Science. During the 2023–2024 school year, I was honored to be named the HAABE District Elementary ESL Teacher of the Year. Most recently, I received a Certificate of Achievement for completing the Pathways to Leadership Academy for the 2024–2025 school year, an opportunity that has further strengthened my passion for educational leadership.
As your Campus Student Success Specialist, my mission is to work closely with students, families, teachers, and campus leaders to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive. I focus on identifying and removing barriers to learning while promoting academic growth, improved attendance, positive behavior, and overall student well-being.
I look forward to working alongside you and supporting your child’s educational journey this year. Together, we can help our Giants grow strong and confident!
