Welcome to Crockett Elementary Library

About Mrs. Truesdale

Hi! I am Diana Truesdale, librarian at Crockett Elementary. I have been with GCCISD since 2004 and taught at Tomball ISD 2 years prior to that. I have taught 2nd-4th grade before becoming a librarian. I also worked with the GCCISD Educational Technology Department for two years. I look forward to a great school year! Please let me know if you have any questions about the library.

Summer Reading!

Crockett's Summer Reading Challenge is here! A copy of the Summer Reading Challenge will be sent home with students on May 23rd. Click the link below to view it or to print another copy of it. Rules and other important information can be found on the second page of the Challenge.

**PLEASE NOTE: Chapter Books**

1. Your child only has to complete an activity for one chapter of the book. For example, he/she reads chapter 1 of Charlotte's Web under a tree. However, he/she should still finish reading the chapter book (in whatever manner they choose).

2. Also, your child may use the same chapter book for a maximum of 2 activities. For example: Read chapter 1 of Bad Kitty by flashlight and read chapter 2 of Bad Kitty to a stuffed animal. He/She still needs to finish reading the chapter book (in whatever manner they choose) but cannot write it down for a 3rd activity.
