Didn't get an iPad?? - In order to receive your device as soon as possible, make sure your iPad fines are paid (Grade Level Office), items are returned (CTS @ Library), and your Online Registration is complete with the iPad Loan Agreement stating YES to receive an iPad. Online registration can be found on the GCCISD website.

 

PEP RALLY: This week's theme is NEON. Wear your neon and let your spirit shine bright for our Patriots. Sign up will be on Thursday, September 2. Use the QR codes posted on Main Street. If you don't sign up, you may not attend. In the event of bad weather, the pep rally may be canceled. 

 

PARKING PASSES: If you have not yet purchased your parking sticker, please stop by the Sophomore Office (E209) or the Global Business Academy office (SW101) during Patriot Hour or before school starts. In order to receive a sticker, you must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, signed paperwork, and $10. We will allow you the week of August 30-September 3 to get your parking sticker and will begin giving parking violations on Tuesday, September 7. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Martinez in the Sophomore Office.

 

Parking Spots: Juniors & Seniors can now reserve a parking spot of their own. You will have the chance to custom paint your spot on our annual "Patriot Painting Day" and park there all year. The cost to reserve is $100. these funds go to a great cause benefiting Senior Scholarships! Pick up information in the Sophomore Office. Participating students will need to join the Parking Lot Google Classroom to access information. The Parking Lot Painting Day will be on Sunday, September 19. Spots are 1st come, 1st served. Don't miss out!

 

ALL CLUBS: Are you looking for a way to be an active member of Patriot Nation? We have several clubs & organizations to choose from. Click on Student Life (above), then click on Clubs & Organizations. We have something for everyone!

 

NHS: Prospective NHS members, if you received an NHS application form, they are due this Friday, September 3rd. You can turn them in to Miss Garcia (E222) or Miss Brinker (E124). Be sure to sign up for our Remind!

 

Spirit Club: The Spirit Club will have its first meeting on Monday, August 30, in room 412 during Patriot Hour 'A'. If you signed up for Spirit Club, please attend!

 

Dugout Darlings: The first meeting of the Dugout Darlings will be on Friday, September 3, in Mrs. Luna's room E214 during the first half of Patriot Hour. If you are interested in joining, please come to this meeting!

 

Interact Club: Interact Club will meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month during Patriot Hour 'A'  in Ms. Baker's room SW115. If you are interested in joining and/or becoming an officer, please come to our first meeting on Wednesday, September 8th. CLICK HERE to sign up. All grade levels are welcome! If you are interested in giving back to the community and being a part of something big, we cannot wait to see you. SERVICE ABOVE SELF!

 

Mu Alpha Theta: Are you interested in joining Math Club? Do you like taking math tests for fun? Then Mu Alpha Theta is looking for you! We meet during Patriot Hour 'B' and after school every Thursday in Mr. Kang's room SW201. Come by and see just how much math you can learn in high school!

 

Go Green Club: Are you planning on applying to a university in the near future? Building community service hours is part of the application process!  We invite you to our next Go Green Club meeting to learn about opportunities to help you build those hours. We meet every Monday during Patriot Hour in room SW202. 

 

Student Council: Student Council will have its first meeting on Tuesday, September 7, during Patriot Hour 'B' in room SW100. To stay connected and informed in Student Council, make sure you sign up for the REMIND app and text @gcmstuco22 to 81010. 

 

Key Club: Key Club is having its first meeting on Wednesday, September 1st, during Patriot Hour 'A' in Ms. Loggins' room E212. Key Club is a student-led organization where we provide our members with opportunities to serve, build character, and develop key leadership skills for your future. And it looks great on college applications!

 

HOSA: Are you in a health sciences class? Are you taking forensics? If you are interested in the healthcare field come be a part of the professional organization HOSA. Learn leadership skills, network with peers and industry leaders, and have fun at competitions. Come by W102 or W109 for more information.

 

FBLA: Are you interested in being a leader in the business world or exploring a career in communications? If so, come and check out FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). Our Interest Meeting is Wednesday, September 1st, at the beginning of Patriot Hour 'A' in Mr. Freeman's room SW113. We are also looking for officers. Join our Google Classroom (3tobtyg).

 

GSA: Are you looking for a place that is warm and welcoming? Have you ever felt different or out of place? The Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) will gather in Mr. Ayres' room W202 during Patriot Hour 'A' on Wednesday, September 1st. GSA is a place where everyone is wanted and everyone is welcome! We encourage you to come and see what we're all about. Meetings are the first and third Wednesday of every month. 

 

 AGaMo: "Anime, Games, and More" is a great place for those who enjoy all things tech, anime, gaming, DnD, Magic, and other activities. Our first meeting is this Thursday, September 2. We meet on the first and third Thursdays of every month after school in the library until 4:30.  If you've got something cool to show off, come join us! For more information, talk to Mrs. Lambert in the library.
