Lady Patriot Basketball Tryouts: The Lady Patriot Basketball Season is almost here!! Freshman Tryouts will be Monday October 23rd 3:30-5:00pm in the Auxiliary Gym. Upperclassman Tryouts will be Tuesday October 24th 3:30-5:00pm in the Main Gym. You MUST have a Physical, Rank One paperwork filled out, and Passing Grades to Tryout. If you would like to be a Lady Patriot Basketball Manager, please see Coach Shaw in the Gym or Athletic Hallway to pick up an Application.

 

Patriot 51: Members going on the Nov.1 field trip will need to meet in Mr. McGregory's room SW121 on Tuesday, Oct 24, at 3:30 p.m.

 

Boys Basketball Managers & Statisticians: We are looking for Managers and Statisticians to work with our varsity team this season. Responsibilities include: -Attending and Charting ALL Practices and Games for the 2023-2024 season. -Filming Away Games -Equipment Manager -Scoreboard Operation During Practice -Bookkeeping during home games (Aux Gym) If you're interested, please come by Office 334 after school and ask for Coach Haymon or Coach Greenidge as soon as possible.

 

Pep Rally Face Painting: This Friday, Oct. 27, NAHS will be doing facepainting during all lunches with neon face paints!

Glow with the Flow and get your face painted for $1.

 

Homecoming Dance - Non-GCM Student Forms:

Our Homecoming Dance is Saturday, Oct 28. If you are bringing a date that is NOT a GCM student,

 you MUST have the Non-GCM Student Form completed and turned in to your AP office before Oct 26.

The form is located on the front page of the GCM High School Website for convenient printing.

It is also in all 4 grade level offices and the Front Office.

 

Homecoming Dance Tickets:

It's Homecoming Week! The Homecoming Dance is THIS SATURDAY - Oct 28th from 7pm-11pm.

The THEME is "Under the Sea!" Tickets will be on sale during ALL 3 LUNCHES for $20 each.

Tickets will be $25 at the door for GCM students only with an ID.

You must bring your Homecoming Ticket AND your ID to the dance to get in. No ticket or no ID = no entry.

The first 500 tickets sold will get a FREE NEON shirt to wear to the pep rally! Sizes and colors are first come, first serve.

Boys Soccer: For anyone interested in trying out for the boys soccer program, a meeting will be held in E208 after school on November 10.

The meeting is mandatory and anyone who does not attend will not be allowed to tryout.

 

FBLA: Future Business Leaders of America will have their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 1

after school in Mrs. Jones room, W120. We have a special guest speaker planned with a workshop on professional dress

and learning to tie a tie. We are inviting everyone to attend this meeting, not just FBLA members. Grab a friend and your tie to

join us for a fun professional afternoon.

 

Girls Soccer Tryouts: Any girls that are not in the athletic period that would be interested in trying out

for the Girls Soccer team this upcoming season - there is an after-school meeting on Tuesday,

November 7, at 3:30 p.m. in Coach Huizar's room SW209.
