This week is our FIRST HOME football game and we have a pep rally! The theme is "Patriots are Superheroes!" Dress as your favorite superhero on Thursday, Oct. 4. (No masks; dress code still applies.)
The game is on Thursday, Oct. 4 at Stallworth Stadium. There is a pregame tailgate in the stadium parking lot from 5:30 p,m. to Kickoff with FREE food and drinks. Come out and join your Patriot Nation!
PINK OUT SHIRTS: Pre-ordered shirts may be picked up all day Friday, Oct. 5, in room W102. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, GCM has several events planned - Pink Out Volleyball game, our Homecoming Pep Rally & Football game, and our annual ribbon photo. Pick up your shirt - in one week, all shirts will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Thanks for supporting Relay for Life & PINK OUT, Y'ALL!

FAFSA NIGHT: GCCISD will be hosting a district-wide FAFSA night on Thursday, Oct. 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the GCM Library. Guest presenter Veronica Lawrence from Gradcafé Baytown will lead us through the steps to fill out the FAFSA. Stop by the College & Career Center for a checklist of what to bring and/or if you have any questions regarding this event.
PROM FUNDRAISER: The clock is ticking! Help make our Prom the best ever by doing your part to raise money. Sell those cups!
Anime Club: There will be a club meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 3, from 3:50 to 5:50 p.m. in the Library. We will hear from our officer candidates, then hold elections for this year's officers. Everyone is welcome!
ASVAB: The ASVAB is an exam that helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. The test will be given at GCM on October 11, 2018. Sign up in the College & Career Center.
Crime Stoppers: Meeting after school on Wednesday, Oct. 3, @3:50 p.m. in SW210. New members are welcome!
Determined Club: There will be a meeting on October 5th in room W242 @7:55 a.m.
GCM Patriot Library: The Patriot Library will begin extended hours on Tuesdays - we will stay open until 5:00 p.m.
Japan 2020! There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 6:00 p.m. in the Library. Questions? See Mrs. Lambert in the Library.
Pink Out Shirts: Students who ordered Pink Out Shirts may pick them up beginning Friday, Oct. 5, in room W102. Students will have one week to purchase their shirt before the extras are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Shirts are $10 and may be paid with cash or check made out to the school with a driver's license number. So remember to bring your $10 ASAP because our PINK OUT game and ribbon photo are coming soon!
Socktober! Beacon Federal Credit Union is partnering with millions around the country to help spread the word - socks are the most needed items in homeless shelters, but the least donated! It's SOCKTOBER! Do you part by donating new socks to give to a local homeless shelter. Bring new pairs of socks by your Patriot Beacon Branch near the cafeteria on Wednesdays in October from 2:00-4:30 p.m. or to Mrs. Johnson in SW113. Help us reach our goal of 500 pairs of socks!
Technical Student Association (TSA): There will be a meeting after school @3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, in SW210. This year's $25 membership fee has been waived.
