Give Back to Our Troops: Help FFA collect items for care packages for our troops! Bring the following items to W119 or W113: personal hygiene items, feminine products, paper, pens, envelopes, heat-resistant candy, and snacks. We will give service hours for donations!
Coat & Blanket Drive: Give your gently-used coats and blankets some new life by donating them to kids & families in need. GCM FFA is having a coat & blanket drive during the month of November. Any student who donates will receive service hours. Bring your items to W113 or W119. Let's work together to keep our community warm this winter!
College & Career Night: GCCISD will be hosting College Night 2018 at GCM on Monday, November 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. College representatives will be available and grade-level meetings will be held. Shuttle service will be provided from Sterling and Lee High Schools to GCM every 30 minutes. Any questions? Come by the College & Career Center!
Boys' Basketball: Tryouts will be held on Saturday, November 10, at 9:00 a.m. A physical needs to be brought to the trainers prior to trying out or on the day of tryouts. A follow-up tryout will be held on Monday, November 12, during 8th period for current football players and at 3:45 p.m. for all others.
Boys' Soccer: There will be a mandatory meeting on Thursday, November 8, at 4:00 p.m. in Coach Freeman's room E208. If you do not attend this meeting, you will not be allowed to tryout.
GCM Cheer: We are hosting a Kendra Scott Gives Back party on Tuesday, November 6, at GCM from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Please plan to do some early Christmas shopping! 20% of the proceeds will benefit the GCM Cheerleaders. November birthday discounts apply!
Girls' Soccer: Any girl who is not currently in 8th period soccer athletics and is interested in trying out for the soccer team needs to stop by Coach Huizar's room SW209 to get more information. Tryouts will be Monday, Nov. 26, and Tuesday, Nov. 27. You must attend both days to be considered.
GSA T-shirt Sales: Our amazing, wonderful, awesome t-shirts are on sale November 5-16. The shirts are $19. You can see samples in SW205 and around campus. Don't miss out on this opportunity to show your support. You don't have to be a member to buy a shirt!
HOSA: Tuesday, November 6, is the last day to vote for the 2018-19 HOSA Officers. Voting will be open in room W102 until 4:00 p.m. and officers will be posted on Wednesday morning before school. Don't forget to vote!
TSA: There will be a meeting on Thursday, Nov. 8, at 4:00 p.m. in SW210.
