FFA Coat & Blanket Drive: Give your gently-used coats & blankets some new life by donating them to kids & families in need! Donations will be accepted during the month of November in W113 or W119. Any student who donates will receive service hours.
Fishing: Interested in Fishing? Come to the meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 6:00 p.m. in Mr. McLaren's shop W115 to find out more about joining the team!
Interact Club: We are a Rotary-sponsored service cub that gives young people an opportunity to participate in fun and meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and meeting new friends. Our motto is "service above self". Come join us in room 506 on November 28. We will discuss volunteering for the Liberty Dayton Jingle Bell Ball. The Ball benefits physically and mentally handicapped children, teenagers, adults, and their families.
Girls Soccer Tryouts: Tryouts will take place on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 26-27; we will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m. and end at approximately 5:30 p.m. Make sure you have a completed athletic form with you or on file already. Bring running shoes, cleats, and shin guards. We will meet on the track.
Girls Track & Field: Any female athletes interested in joining the track team must attend a mandatory meeting on Thursday, Dec. 6, at 3:50 p.m. in room E116. For more information, contact Coach Curry or Coach J.
Powerlifting: The weight room is open for business every day @ 3:50-5:00 p.m. Right now we are having open workouts...come and join us! You must have a current physical on file with the training staff in order to lift. We will have a brief meeting on Monday, December 3rd, at 4:00 p.m. in the meeting room 335. Powerlifting is for ALL students, boys and girls! Do not hesitate...come join the STRONGEST organization at GCM!
