It's PEP RALLY time! Get your spirit up and get ready for the first pep rally on Friday, September 6. Let's "Toga the Trojans!" Wear a toga over school appropriate clothes and a laurel wreath on your head. Or dress like a Greek God or Goddess. Or go for the gold and dress as a Greek Olympian!

 



 

PSAT: If you are interested in taking the PSAT, a National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Exam, stop into the College & Career Center and sign up with Ms. Haggerty. The cost of the exam is $20 and will be given during the school day on October 16, 2019. The deadline to sign up is September 12.

 

ASVAB: Are you thinking about going into the military after you graduate high school? The College & Career Center will be offering the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test on October 17 during the school day. Please find the QR code posted on Main Street or stop into the College & Career Center to sign up. The test is free.

 

Gay/Straight Alliance: Our first meeting is Wednesday, Sept. 4, after school in the Library. We will be discussing goals for the year. The purpose of the club is to provide support for the LGBTQ community here at GCM. Come to the meeting and bring a friend and ally! This organization is for everyone! Everyone is Wanted, Everyone is Welcome!

 

Interact Club: The first meeting of the year will be on Wednesday in room 506, down the fine arts hallway. Bring a friend with you for Welcome Back Wednesday! We will hold nominations for this year's officers and discuss upcoming volunteer opportunities for service hours.

 

Fashion Club: Calling all aspiring models, designers, stylists, photographers, make-up artists, and bloggers! Fashion Club will be holding its first meeting in Ms. Baker's room SW115 on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 3:50 p.m. If you have a passion for fashion and all things trendy, we would love to have you!

 

Anime Club: Do you enjoy manga, anime, video games, board games, and other fun activities? Come join us on Wednesday, Sept. 11, after school in the Library. We will be discussing a new name, officer elections, and activities for the year.
